INTENT

  • Applying and developing a broad range of movement/speaking and listening skills.A

  • Linking actions and movements to create sequences or speech.

  • Learning to communicate, collaborate and perform with each other.

IMPLEMENTATION

  • 1 hour per week delivered across all year groups.

  •  Links to other subject areas.

  •  Lessons focus on wide range of skills including...

  •  Oracy, speech and language and script work.

  •  Music and movement skills, exploring styles and genres.

IMPACT

  • In line with age related expectations in Geography/history/ music/ PE.

  • Evidence is gathered through pupil voice, observations, video evidence and ongoing formative self/ peer/ teacher assessments.

  • It is a key feature of enrichment and wellbeing at St. Marie's
