Year 1-Autumn 2, Week 1

We spent Tuesday in the garden and the Outdoor Classroom. We looked for signs of Autumn and each child made a journey stick.

The children listened to a story and used their imaginations to make a creature who hibernates in Winter. The day ended with lighting the fire-pit and toasting marshmallows.

We have learnt about the U.K. and the weather in the U.K. during the 4 seasons. Some children worked as a team and with resilience to complete a 150 piece jigsaw. They have created homes in different climates and created repeating patterns.
